Position: Red Hat Cloud Architect 

Location: Doha, Qatar

Duration: 12 months (can get extended)

Desired Experience: BE / BTech / BCA / MCA with minimum 9-12 yrs exp., in the following: 

Job Description:

· The Red Hat Cloud Architect works as part of account teams and on pre-sales, project and account-based assignments to design technical solutions for the company’s clients in Middle East. Working as Red Hat Cloud Architect.

· He/ She must produce end-to-end solution designs, putting together technologies from multiple IT systems and departments across either the application or infrastructure domains.

· He/ She must be proficient with Redhat Cloud Products like Cloudforms, OpenShift and OpenStack.

·         He/ She must have core knowledge and experience of traditional Redhat product like RHEL and RHEV

·  The  Red Hat Cloud Architect must have detailed knowledge and experience of one or more application or infrastructure  domains and  have the ability to clearly document and communicate the domain architecture

· The Red Hat Cloud Architect ensures technical quality and assurance by participating in Architecture Governance and Technical Design peer review processes, working closely with customer and internal stakeholders as appropriate.

· He / She must have the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the client organization.

· The Red Hat Cloud Architect oversees coordination of the Solution Manager/Solution Architect, and teams up with other Functional or Technical Architects.

Customer focus

· Provides technology advisory services to the clients on technology landscape, product and solution recommendations, and adoption and implementation strategy.

· Displays experience in aligning technical design and solution fit to customer priorities.

· Shows awareness of the wider implications of technical and commercial decisions.

· Supports solution proposal presentations at customer location

· Prepares the relevant part of presentation material related with the services, architecture and technology aspects of the solution.

·Acts as the customer focal point for technical needs.

Technical focus

·         Understands the technical requirements and designs value added, end to end technical solutions based as much as possible on standard portfolio (service catalogue)

·         Validates the feasibility of the technology alignment with business requirements with the Functional Architects.

·         Applies deep knowledge of the state of the art and good knowledge of Redhat Cloud Portfolio in the respective technical domain.

·         Has IT Experience in a specialist role incl. Technical specifications and familiar with National and International standards associated with IT services.

·         Has full understanding of standard architecture methodologies, processes and best practices.

·         Applies experience to ensure practical implications of technical solution.

·         Troubleshoots technical problems and comes up with resolutions

·         Builds or leads Proof of Technology Prototypes for customer illustrations.

·         Lead one or more technical project deliveries.
